特徴
八十八夜は立春から数えて88日目にあたる5月2日頃をいいます。春から夏に移る節目で、霜もなく安定した気候が農作物など種撒きに最良の日で、茶の芽も安定しています。また「八十八」は「米」という字になることから、農業にとって特別重要な日とされてきました。この日に摘み取られたお茶を飲むと一年間無病息災で過ごせるという言い伝えがありますが、縁起だけではなく、実際に初摘みの香りとうまみが味わえるすがすがしいお茶です。
（淹れ方のコツ） ①湯呑に沸騰したお湯を注ぎ、95度くらいまで冷まします。 ②急須に茶葉（二人分約5ｇ）を入れ、少しさましたお湯を注ぎふたをして30～40秒待ちます。 ③１つの湯呑に一度に注がず、少しずつ均等に注ぎ分けます。最後の一滴まで、急須に残らないように完全に注ぎきりましょう。

Besides, it is a refreshing tea which the fragrance and the taste of the first tea texture. 【HOW TO MAKE THE TEA】 ① Pour hot boiling water into the cup and let it cools down to approximate 95 degrees. ② Place the tealeaves (about 5g for 2 people) in the teapot, pour a little hot water, cover the teapot and wait 30 to 40 seconds. ③ Pour evenly little by little until completely end to the last drop.
